For grouting floor tiles in dry air in combination with high temperatures or strongly absorbent substrates or tiles, moisten the grout immediately before grouting. Mix 30 kg of Foby+ Voegenbreed with about 8 litres of clean tap water in a clean mixing tub. Use a floor squeegee to draw the thin liquid mass into the joints. After a few minutes, generously sprinkle powdered Foby+ Voegenbreed over the floor. This absorbs the excess moisture from the joints. Then use the floor squeegee to clean the floor diagonally. After some time, clean the floor with a sponge and clean water. For grouting the wall tiles, prepare a smooth mortar by mixing 30 kg with 6 litres of water. Moisten the joints beforehand to prevent the jointing mortar from drying too quickly. Apply jointing mortar to the joints using a rubber spreader or float. After the joint has dried slightly, sponge off with clean water.

Avoid exposure to draughts or sunlight during application and curing. For the first several days after the application, we recommend keeping the joints moist by sponging or mopping. This ensures proper and full curing. In hot weather, always take into account that the material may dry too quickly, which may lead to insufficient strength development.
